Barcelona can’t sign everyone, Guardiola opens up on relationship with Barcelona players and Laporta preparing Messi’s contract offer. Barcelona can’t sign everyone.

Bringing in a strong centre-forward is a priority for Barcelona according to Marca. This isn’t new. It was also a priority last summer, as well as in the winter. But finally it seems as if Ronald Koeman will be able to bring in that central attacking threat that he so desires.

Memphis Depay

What’s less clear is who it will be. Koeman wants Memphis Depay, Joan Laporta insists on Erling Haaland while certain voices within the club have identified Sergio Aguero. Barcelona can’t sign everyone. The intention is to bring in two, with the former two favoured at this time above Aguero.

Depay is out-of-contract this summer, and has played under Koeman with the Dutch national team. His ambition is to join Barcelona. Koeman would love for him to be joined by Haaland, but that deal is financially complex, with the Norwegian valued at €150m. Despite this, Laporta is determined to make it happen.

Haaland

Aguero is said to be interested in a move to Camp Nou, but he’s very much third on the list. Barcelona can’t bring in three forwards because there’s other areas they’re interested in, like a centre-back in Eric Garcia and a midfielder in Gini Wijnaldum. Both players will be available on free transfers.

Eminem and Cardi B about to beef?

Cardi B says she didn’t request any collaboration with Eminem

Cardi B has rejected the rumors that Eminem turned down her request to feature on her new album.

The WAP wrapper seemed to be taken aback by claims made on Twitter during her “absence”.

She chose to address the rumors saying, “Big Lies… I get off the internet and ya makin sh** up. I haven’t sent no songs to no artist yet. Love his work and much respect. This don’t even make sense”

The tweet she replied to read, “Insiders report: Eminem has now declined a ft request for Cardi B’s upcoming project: says “she doesn’t care about the culture or her craft.

While Eminem fans praised Cardi B for expressing respect for their favorite rapper, Slim Shady’s critics said the Detroit native would come after Cardi “for saying ” I haven’t sent no songs to not artist yet”.

Papers: Lionel Messi to Manchester City is ruled out

Leo messi

According to the latest edition of SPORT, English giants Manchester City will no longer pursue Barcelona’s Lionel Messi this summer. The move has been ruled out because they believe that Messi will renew with the Catalans.
Following the infamous burofax saga at the end of last season, Manchester City were the frontrunners for the Argentine’s signature, with the deal having reportedly come extremely close. However due to circumstances well known by now, Messi stayed at Barcelona, declaring that he would make a decision about his future at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

After Sergio Aguero announced yesterday that he would be parting with Manchester City after his contract ends this season, the rumours have been flying about, with him being linked to Barcelona as well. Being a good friend of Lionel Messi has naturally intensified the speculation, with reports stating that he wants to unite with his compatriot at Barcelona.

But amid all of this, the Spanish outlet believe that the Messi to City links can finally be put to bed and now PSG remain the only party who will pursue Messi. Manchester City will instead look for a striker replacement with Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku, all on their radar.

The outlet’s report also highlights that the club’s keen interest in Haaland remains as he wishes for a Dortmund exit. Additionally, the Lautaro Martinez links have also resurfaced, with the Blaugrana considering him as a ‘plan B’.

A lot has happened since Messi’s move to City almost materialised. With the return of Joan Laporta as club president and now potentially Aguero’s arrival, the superstar perhaps has a lot more incentive to renew with Barcelona beyond June 30th.

Real Madrid Transfers: A new sign that Erling Haaland is coming?

When Real Madrid are linked closely to three of the biggest stars in world football and are desperate to acquire a top goal-scorer during a nearly impossible-to-navigate economic situation, silly season starts early. And I am here to help be your guide to the silliest of silly seasons, as Real pursue Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, or maybe even Cristiano Ronaldo this summer. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of names we have seen linked to Los Blancos.

Haaland seems to be the most likely Galactico to land in Madrid. His club, Dortmund, are struggling this season in the Bundesliga and could even fail to qualify for the Champions League next season. He will be the cheapest of the superstars to acquire. Real and Dortmund have a good relationship. And finally, Haaland himself reportedly wants to move to Madrid this summer.

There’s another potential clue to the transfer saga that has emerged recently. According to Deportes Cuatro, Erling Haaland’s family has purchased property in Marbella.

The Norwegian national team spent a few days training in the Spanish city, and mayor Angeles Munoz gave Haaland a kit of the local club. And then she confirmed that his family bought property there. So basically, he already has a house in Spain.

Real Madrid or Barcelona? Los Blancos have an easier path to Erling Haaland

There are two Spanish clubs linked to Haaland, and they are the only two clubs that would conceivably be interested. Barcelona and Real Madrid, of course.

Both clubs need to sell to buy this summer, such is the state of the economy, but La Blaugrana are so far into the red that it seems just about impossible for them to sign Haaland. I do not 100 percent count them out due to the Joan Laporta return – I know better than to underestimate him – but it is becoming clear that Real are the dream destination and leaders in the Haaland sweepstakes.

We can’t read too much into the “who is buying property?” transfer league tier of rumors, because it’s typical of the silly season. It is almost comical, in a way, right? Hell, what if Haaland’s family just really enjoy Spain? It’s not hard to believe they’d fall in love with a city as famously beautiful around Europe as Marbella.

But it is another clue and reason for Real Madrid fans to get excited and get their hopes up. I am all for the fans getting excited about Haaland, because he would be an amazing signing. And hell, we could all use something to hang our hopes on right now.

(Video): Timo Werner misses sitter as Germany lose in shock defeat

Timo werner

Things really are going from bad to worse for Timo Werner this season, after a stuttering start to his Chelsea career.

The German international is struggling for form, and struggling to make any real impact at Stamford Bridge so far this season after his big money move.

Do Chelsea have any more striker targets other than Erling Haaland?

I believed a spell away with his national side Germany would do him good. However, the poor form has continued, and Werner missed this sitter (seen below) for Germany last night as they went down to a shock 2-1 defeat to North Macedonia.

The one thing Werner has on his side? Thomas Tuchel. I believe the German boss can still get the best out of the Chelsea striker. I hope!
